Running Training, Program Settup,

I had a group come to me asking for help for training for a 5k, about 40 people total with different skill levels in running I can help, The way I would work with a group that big is to breakup into groups and have Stations, You guys know how to run, what I bring to the table is exercises for running,

I would do it and have done it as a Bootcamp

Would also work on some stride work and and Plyometrics for running, With a group that big problably need to do a hour and half, I would split the group into groups of 10-15 people.

Start out with a group stretch/warmup

Next break into groups

one group do a short distance Run

group 2 do Speed and sprint work, maybe jump rope, interval work, (do you guys have access to a track)

Group 3 More intensive exercise for running, Bootcamp style exercise, pushup, crunches, lunges etc.

Fall Workout program, with limited equipment, boot camp style program
Hello Atlanta Fitness group, this is a sample workout that I did for one of my clients to do in between the regular workouts.
5 minutes stretching and warmup, wall stretch
Arm circles 40 forward, 40 backward
20-40 minutes cardio: treadmill, elliptical etc.
80 regular crunches
60 side crunches right side, left side
80 Bicycle crunches
pushups close grip tricep 15-25
Calf Raiese 30-40 on a elevated serface,such as stairs
pushups wide grip 15-25
25-30squats with weights
!5-20 tricep dips
100-300 reps done in 4- 8 sets of 40-60 reps spread throughout the workout
Minute or 2 of post workout stretching

Happy to announce that we have added Howell station nieghborhood as a boot camp location. 5:45 - 6:45 in West midtown of Atlanta Ga, not far from GA Tech.
Here is a new workout program to keep your self in shape and to get into spring shape and ready for the pool and beach!. Looking to restart the group fitness classes within the next couple of weeks, boot camps and semi private classes and get that New Years fitness rosolution going I can come to you and bring a group to join you, or you can join one of my groups. Classes mostly in Buckhead and Midtown, will travel to perimeter mall, and the Vinings area in Atlanta GA
